I am an assistant professor of physics and history of science at the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. My research is on the history of physics in the 20th century, especially in the Soviet Union, from the perspective of instrumentation and transnational collaboration/competition.

Currently, I am working on the origins of the instruments and techniques used in the experimental tests of Bell's inequalities. This project stemmed from the handbook chapter I wrote for The Oxford Handbook of the History of Quantum Interpretations (expected to appear in January 2022).
